Here are the answers
APRO in general
APRO develops all software modules itself and is therefore independent of third-party providers, which enables fast response times and a high capacity for innovation. Thanks to its hybrid system (cloud or local), APRO combines reliability with flexibility.
The entire product portfolio – from the POS software to the self-order solutions – is developed in-house by our own development team. This makes APRO independent of third-party providers and able to implement innovations quickly.
Yes, APRO uses AI tools to optimise development processes and is continuously working on providing AI-powered POS functions.

Costs & quotes
Prices start at approx. € 3,500 for a basic set (consisting of one POS terminal and one printer). The price may vary depending on the modules and additional functions you require. In a consultation, we work out together which functions are needed in order to prepare a tailor-made quote.
Of course! The APRO POS is fully modular; every module (e.g. delivery platform integration, voucher system, ...) can be purchased and activated at a later date.
Absolutely! APRO meets all regulatory requirements in its target markets:
- Germany: GoBD & TSE
- Austria: RKSV (Austrian cash register security regulation)
- Switzerland: legal requirements (e.g. cash register legislation)
- Italy: e-invoicing (fatturazione elettronica)
Yes, APRO specifically commissioned an expert opinion to make a digital receipt possible for all customers. Together with our partner Fiskaltrust we offer every customer the option of displaying a digital receipt on POS terminals, mobile devices, tablets, customer displays and self-order kiosks. This means the invoice no longer needs to be printed. Of course, an invoice can still be printed on paper at the customer's request. Future amount-based rules (e.g. the planned abolition of the receipt requirement for amounts up to € 35 in Austria) can also be activated on the POS via a remote maintenance update.
Hardware & installation
With the help of the onboarding module and intelligent imports (e.g. for items, tables, vouchers), a switch can usually be completed in a short time.
Our sales staff check individually whether existing hardware is compatible with the APRO system and can therefore continue to be used. Existing devices can often be kept in use, which reduces investment costs.
Yes, mobile ordering is our speciality; almost all functions of the touch POS can also be used on the mobile devices. In addition, our mobile devices offer integrated payment functions for the most common payment providers.
